once upon a time there was an awin. she hailed from the land of void where nothing much exists, so most of the time she was a little bit bored. one day, she stumbled upon a wary cat - something very new to her since the land of void is rather devoid of life. she asked, 'who are you, kitty?' to which the kitty responded with a disdainful sniff and an obvious snub. and still now awin tries to make this lovely tortoiseshell boy kitty her friend, but he stays rather unrelenting.

she's known as awin, so call her that. she's just sixteen and has a lot to say, though very little of it is of consequence. she writes, she loves, she reads, but above all, she dreams. this journal is mostly private, though her fanfiction stays public - she's decided to post all of her chapter fics on eljay first here on in, so that she'll stop her incessant habit of taking forever and a day to update.

more friends are always nice, though it'd be nicer if you dropped by here to acquaint yourself before doing anything else.

this is awin's house. she always returns despite the constant problems she has with it - though there is no rent, the other tenants bug her and there is always litter everywhere. because of this, she likes to visit this inn, which is homey despite the many people bustling about. there is always somebody awake and welcoming there, willing to listen to awin's insane (and inane) chatter. however, sometimes both of these places are too much, so she hides away here, where she is able to laugh without the scrutiny of people who matter, without caring about being judged. however, she hides away at this quiet little haven with the freedom that is creativity.
