entry

Hello.

So it has been a while (:

This is more of a HI; I AM ALIVE post than a GREETINGS; CONTENT HERE post because to be honest my life is very boring and I haven't had anything notable happen to me (explaining the dearth of updates). Here is a list with bullets of completely unrelated facts:

My flatmate rocks because she is
- a huge LOTR fan so we fangirl about THE HOBBIT TRAILER OUT THIS MONTH OMH
- also in English so we gripe about essays together and cry like disgraced grown men
- very easy to live with - she even does the thing where she flips down the toilet seat because she is also not fond of faecal matter being dispersed in the lavatory
I have one exam still but I have returned home for relaxation and because if I hole up by myself with narrative theory I may misuse a time machine so that I can murder Freud
Baking is a completely destructive hobby because it makes it so all I ingest are sugars and flour and butter. And cream cheese. I have been eating cream cheese straight out of the fridge.
My dad's fancy schmancy new scale that also calculates body fat percentage and muscle mass is very offensive and I don't like its judgemental instruction manual.
This layout does not look good in Chrome which is now my browser of choice
I can't take pictures of my profile but I compensate by buying expensive headphones

I'm sorry for being a bad LJ friend who does not comment but I have been keeping up with my f-list and all - it's just that I don't comment (and that is probably worse). Please forgive me! I will try to do better in the future (: I will take this opportunity to also do this:

REVERSE FRIENDS CUT!

Since I will probably only update once every solstice or equinox or something and even then the things I will say will be tripe like this, feel free to un-friend me and such! No comment necessary (:

yes yes yes (: shall be taking bunches of pictures while my family is bored by harry potter because they are not actually very interested in it at all XD but they can enjoy the other orlando-y things or something like the fact that it doesn't snow. I don't know.

I'm afraid I've been pretty bad about not going on LJ enough too, so you're not the only one!

Your flatmate sounds awesome! And I think all scales are generally judgmental and offensive, some more than others though, haha. Also THOSE ARE AMAZING HEADPHONES WOW. I love stylish anime merchandise and anything related to Kotetsu is instantly and A+ in my book.

And I tried sending birthday wishes your way on the 1st, but LJ was being a derp and wouldn't let me, SO HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY. (It's only...kind of really late, oops)

WASN'T GHOST TRICK LOVELY? SUPER WONDERFUL? and the ending oh Sissel! ♡ AND IT IS INDEED OUT this very Wednesday (at least here in Canada) and I will be watching Tintin just so I can see the trailer in theatres! I am so very excited for it the Hobbit in theatres is like my dream come true - twice, since it's two films!

YESSS GOSH, THE ENDING WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER. I was literally just like "oh my gosh. Oh My Gosh. OH MY GOSH" the whole time LOL. So incredibly epic and amazing. I am so going to name my future cat Sissel.
Tintin looks awesome too! I'm kinda broke now, so I can't watch it in theaters...hopefully someone will post the Hobbit trailer online! :O

I was all like WHOA and then WHAT and NO WAY - and the game mechanics were stellar! so innovative (x

the trailer should be out online in no time so no worries! (: I just wish it could be 2012 already because I don't want to wait that long for film part one! the cast looks fantastic even if at first I was apprehensive about the dwarves XD

Yessss, exactly. I was looking for games like it, but there's honestly nothing else out there even close.

I JUST SAW IT! Looks sooo good. I can tell that I will not be let down! 8D And yes, 2012 is going to be such a fantastic year for movies! I heard that Pixar is coming out with a new movie next year too. AND HUNGER GAMES (if you're into that :P).

THE DWARVES! and also Bilbo is perfect o: did not know about Pixar so now I'm even more pumped for the new year! I enjoyed Hunger Games though the second and third in the series were definitely less to my liking - I'm still eager to see it in theatres though!

Everything is perfect, just ugh ♥ Well, somebody told me about the Pixar thing, SO IT BETTER BE TRUE :O Dude, same here. The first book was so incredibly awesome, and I totally did not like the second and third. Love triangle = typical annoying teen book. I had such high hopes too... :| AND FINNICK GOT KILLED OFF UGH ;_;

YES EXACTLY LOL. I don't think my f-list would be very pleased with all that repetitive negativity...

ahsjdkfhakjl YA we don't want to know about Katniss' boy problems. ME TOO, ME TOOOO. Finnick was definitely my favorite. I had to reread the part where he got killed to make sure my eyes weren't tricking me. And then I was absolutely CRUSHED. T_T Well, the end of the series made me a total mess in general LOL.

Katniss was cool, but then she turned into every YA typical heroine ever. I did the re reading thing tootoo because I just couldn't believe it! the end of the series was all jsklctggf for me ): I was so disappointed since the first book was like WHAM awesome! I hate it when series do that to me )x

Exactlyyyyy omg. I hate to say this, but she became a lot like Bella from Twilight LOL. Biggest insult ever. And yeaaaah, his death was so sudden and quick that I almost didn't even catch it. The whole ending was pretty much terrible and rushed. Saaaame. Just pretend that the second and third books don't exist XD
