It's the end of the year, Pointless but Original Talking Forum, and that means it's almost Christmastime - a time for giving and receiving~. And so, dear forumers, rage-chan came up with an idea where we do sort of the same thing. It'd be tiring to write fics or draw pics for every single forumer that we wanted to, so instead she suggests this.

What we have here is a collection of 'Christmas boxes' - sort of like stockings~. You put little things that you want to tell people in a comment - say compliments, memories you share, Happy New Year/Merry Christmas/Happy Nondenominational Holiday, et cetera~. Keep things positive though - it's Christmastime, and we should be spreading good cheer~.

To participate, make a comment with your name in it - that will be your box/stocking - and on December 6th you can start commenting on other people's threads. If you participate, you've got to write something for everyone else~. You don't need to have a livejournal account, so long as you remember to put your name in the comment.

All comments will be screened until December 25th, when all will be revealed and such n_____n

So anyway. There was Word UP! last Thursday and it was lovely - I got to see doro-dear, after all. XD I think I'll refrain from posting pictures, since I just have pictures of her without me in them and that seems kinda besides the point 'cause then I don't really get to show off that I've met with not one, but two forumers so far! (Including our dearest Dudly.) doro-dono was super cute (and even did her 'I'm evil' face for me! I have a photo as proof.)

Word UP! was just fun though, what with a lovely round robin ('I killed Batman. He was really annoying.') and so much delicious delicious food and drinks~. I went to it right after school and it was at a library I had never been to. It was gorgeous! =D There was the cutest kids section with costumes and this 'pond' with toys and such and the teens section was beautiful too with these lovely computers and just wow. XD I will definitely be visiting the library again when I get to chance - it's within walking distance from school after all.

Anyhow. =D Since apparently doro-dono only read one of the pieces I wrote (what with my writing two) here are both of them! Because really I figured, might as well, right?~

Also, does anyone feel up to helping me with a short story I've written for class? I'd...well need the feedback for it before tomorrow (2009/10/25) 20:00 EST, which is eight o' clock in the evening over here in Ontario. D= It's bothering me. Especially the title. I'm awful at titling things. >_< Anyone have time to spare? It's only two thousand words long D=

I started playing TWEWY again, mostly because the one 'level 2' for a Pig Noise in the Noise List was driving me crazy. It was like, the mar on my otherwise perfect record XD So I replayed. And then I wrote this.

Should be doing research for school instead but really can't stop playing TWEWY and getting all the shopkeepers to love me 8D Why is the DS such a wonderfully portable device?

So it's gotten too cold for me to play piano without hobo gloves~. It's very depressing - even if I play warm-up scales and such my hands don't warm up. And even with gloves they shiver. XD I can't play any piano smoothly now - all the notes get jumbled up.

Despite that I printed out Yin no Piano from Darker than Black, this song from Yotsuba&!, as well as Gotta Catch'em All from Pokemon 8D Which Josh had on his site. Brilliant. Well, at least Yin no Piano sounds nice - to be honest Yotsuba&! song and Pokemon song aren't that brilliantly transcribed. XD But I guess it's okay - it was all printed out at school anyhow XD

Now. On to picture? =D Since I did say I would post one up. And character profiles too, of the characters individually. I didn't do them justice in the sketches since they were just sketches, so forgive the sketchiness please. XD

On an entirely different hand - really if the first part of the entry were one of my hands this would be like, the hand of somebody living in Russia - I'm going to University Fair tomorrow. Exciting stuff. I can't wait to affirm the suspicion that I don't know what to do with my life XDDD

But at least I will get a lot of free stuff. I want a new highlighter pen. And some tote bags. And well, I've lost my old lanyards so a new one would be nice too~. Uni Fair is good for this sort of stuff.

And at least this weekend I have the house to myself, since my parents and the little sister are going off to a resort hotel~~. n____n

That is, in a horrible horrible way. =D

Piano music - it's, as the title suggests, Voyager by V6. It's full of mistakes, but there's no way I'm re-taping it since this is already my fourth attempt >_> First attempt? Under four minutes long. Second one, under five. Third one, the phone rang and then I was just like, screw it I don't care any more. ._____. I wanted to get something up before school started since there will probably be no time once it does XDDD Also, the good thing about this one is that there are no pedal squeaks in it, so whatever, really. .___. I had this video finished yesterday but Youtube was giving me all kinds of hell when I was trying to upload it.

But really, I'm sorry it sounds very sketchy at parts and doesn't really follow the sheet music very well. >_> I couldn't see some of the notes what with the thing being nine pages long and not fitting on the stand. I had to prop some of the sheets up with my metronome on top of the piano, and taped together seven sheets. Of course that resulted in my playing sheets one, two, three, and nine rather badly XDDD But forgive me - I just started playing it yesterday.

And tempo is completely ridiculous. It's not steady at all. XD

Anyhow, I got the sheet music from here =D Nessa, I hope you don't think it's too dreadful XDDD

Also, here is sheet music for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. XD But no video, 'cause the song is a bit boring to play and rather repetitive...which is well, the fate of video game music a lot of the time, what with having to loop. XD However, I do have a midi file with it =D

On another note, I've recently realised that I really, really hate it when I read or watch something that uses the lame plot device of having somebody see their love interest kissing somebody else whom they didn't want to kiss or looking like they were kissing. Because seriously. That's just lame. And then it's like, oh, after two episodes or chapters that the first person finds out it was all a misunderstanding and that their jealousy was unfounded. Oh yay! It's just annoying and repetitive. .____.

School starts tomorrow. I am so under-prepared. .___. Today has been rather drab because of it. XD Only good thing that's happened so far on fine September 8th is that my appointment with the dentist was postponed. 8D

Amelioration of Life and Excellence in its True Technological Embodiment. Seriously. I love my DSi that much (and her name is alette; isn't it cute?) She's just too awesome~~.

But the main reason is this:

DSi Sound.

At first I thought it was superbly lame 'cause it doesn't play MP3 files, but after I converted all my songs to AAC format I realised something amazing:

It can slow down songs without distorting them awfully. And it helps so much with song transcription it's amazing. It's made my Devil Survivor transcribing so so so much faster~~~. Though I'm still haven't been able to actually put them completely down on paper 'cause I'm slow as heck on my PrintMusic demo and Mr Potter seems to like to crash. Really, I think that Mr Potter has a grudge against pretty software (which of course includes Finale and any and all Adobe products XD).

I'll have to try to finish all the sheets before my thirty-day demo is used up~. I've got half of Action and the beginning portion of Demon of Darkness, though I'm still debating what to do with the percussion section. .___. I've always hated it when percussion was translated directly into piano 'cause usually it sounds awful as heck but I'm so tempted to do it myself 'cause I've no idea what to fill up the eight bars of percussion with. ._. I just skipped them in Action since it was at the very beginning, but in Demon of Darkness it'll be too awkward if I leave them out. >_<

But anyway. n______n It's so much easier to pick out the notes with it now and it makes me really really really happy xDDDDD

And don't even get me started on Ugomemo and GyakuKen. xD

東東 is selling chocolate 雞蛋仔.

I'm probably like, the last one to know, but my sister brought home some and they were really weird, I think. D= I like traditional 雞蛋仔 better, but I guess it's nice to try something new?

But the point of the post is really just to get a post up before I leave for the cottage next week~~. It'll be fun in the sun (substitute any other summery phrase if you'd like) I guess, and since I'm with my nice friends it'll be even better - but I bet by the time I come back on Saturday I'll smell permanently like sunscreen from lathering it on too much XD Must avoid sunburns, after all.

Also, any of you have a DSi? 'Cause Flipnote Studio is out in Europe and North America now in the DSiShop =D It's fun stuff. Plus, it's free! And free is always good~.

edit: Made in WONDER is my piano transcription from Josh's of the moment - click it click it I swear it's so much fun to play XD It's very peppy feeling (though it reminds me at one point of that game in Rhythm Heaven with the frogs) and it has a nice key change~.

Yes, this is the sort of thing I do when I'm bored. Pictures are all free-handed with brush pen and permanent marker 8D That doesn't really excuse the wobbly lines though, but shush =P

This is just a post to say that I'll be away from everything for a while n_______n Since I'm extremely busy. With everything. Also, my emails seem to be on the fritz, along with my MSN - I think my laptop is finally giving up on me. Internet dies every ten minutes, and then Mr Potter just turns himself off whenever he likes (but particularly when I try to open PDF files and videos).

So I will be not posting much of anything 'til the end of summer. Rather, I won't be much anywhere online, FFnet or otherwise. I'll pop on LJ to answer comments and comment on other people's entries because LJ is one of the few sites that doesn't crash the computer, but please don't expect quick replies >_<. Ta?

Both of them knew it was wrong.

There had been one drink too many, a few heated comments gone awry. A chance meeting - one escaping right out of a troubled relationship he was trying to forget, one wanting to escape right into a relationship he'd be able to forget.

Neither had expected the other to be there, nor had they expected to be where they were, but they were both here anyway, and neither of them was making it a point to leave.

However, Atobe Keigo and Echizen Nanjiroh both knew that when they returned, Atobe to Echizen Ryoma and Nanjiroh to his wife, that things would never be the same.
